There are several things I love about this incense. 1) The stickless style - no leftover stick after it's burned, just a small amount of ash. 2) This scent - Lavender - is not as heavy or intense as some other types (patchoulli, sandalwood), so it's great for everyday use. 3) It comes in a box of 200, which is really great.

All the incense I've tried from Morning Star has been great, but this one's my favorite. My mom even came over to my house one day and smelled the incense and said she liked it - and she's NOT an incense fan.

Great for meditation or as a pick-me-up. I burn it while doing housework and it seems to just add to my energy. Very nice.

I love lavender products, and I find this one relaxing and appealing. I use it for meditation periods, among other times. The scent is strong, but does not last overly long, so if someone in your home dislikes incense, it will dissipate in a reasonable length of time.

I have been HUNTING down this specific brand and scent since 2003! I first bought it at the "Japan Pavilion" at epcot. No idea if they sell it there still but everytime I went after '03, I couldn't find it! Then over time I forgot the brand, just remembered the box and the specific scent. They burn fast, but the scent is so intoxicating it's worth it! My son has sensitive skin and can't take the baby lavender products, yet he can't fall asleep without lavender. Hopefully this will do the trick for him. It used to be heaven for me!

The smell of lavender is very relaxing and this works well for incense. These sticks are not overly large, however last a good 20+ minutes and smell lovely. The holder does not collect the ashes from the incense, so you would need to put it on a plate or something else to collect it. This is not particularly expensive incense and I've not smelled any scents from Nippon Kodo that are anything less than quite pleasing. Would recommend to anyone.

finally, a Lavender scent that is not overpowering, light and actually smells like lavender. I have also tried the cinnamon and Sandlewood and Jasmine from this company. I love them as they are light, spicy, clean and leave a scent in my home that lasts for days. I love to mix them, burn one scent in one room and another scent in another room--the mix is wonderful. I am going to try the new flower scents they have out also. they burn just long enough and I love the little holder in the package. I just set it in an old candle holder and let the inscense burn away. Need to order more next payday.
Nice to find an insense that is light, lovely, spicy, clean and long lasting and not too smoky. They burn very clean.

These are a little smaller in length than the usual incense stick, but they do smell nice (if you like that kind of thing) and there are lots of them in the box.Not my favorite incense but certainly ok.

Morning Star lavender incense sticks are delightfully aromatic. Burns slowly for a lasting, gentle scent like a gentle breeze from a field of lavender. The small holder that comes in the box with the incense sticks is only for people who don't have a nicer holder--but it's a good start to put on a teacup saucer until a nicer holder is purchased. This supplier (Tom's Incense) seems to know how to select fine quality incense and holders so you can avoid the problem of buying mediocre products. Will continue to purchase this product in the future!

This is the first incense that I bought. I got it because lavender is supposed to keep away fleas, and my house has a bit of a flea problem. dang stray cats! anyway, the incense has a pretty relaxing smell. at first I felt it was a little strong, but after a few weeks I've gotten used to it. The smell doesn't stay in the house or room too long, maybe just a few hours at most. If you want you can always light another one as there are 200 sticks to a box, but I always just use it once a day in a total of two rooms. There don't seem to be as big a flea problem now as before I got the incense, but then again I did spray the house with flea control spray and fumigation. I suppose the incense can be supplementary to any other flea control measures that you employ.

I'm not one to like incense but a woman i know lit this kind while giving me a massage and it smelled great. its not an overwhelming smell and each stick burns for about a half hour. I bought 2 more boxes!
