After the relative disappointment of the last one in the "series"- Buddha Bar IV - I wondered if this genre had really burnt out...... but no!...... to my delight this is a wonderfully original and flowing compilation.
Getting bored with all too many thoughtless chillout compilations on offer nowadays?.......worry not - BUY THIS!!
Claude "The Master" is back - hurrah!

While out shopping one day (in Japan), I happened into a very hip & modern looking shop with the most grooviest, exotic music I've heard in a long time, playing on their system. I had to have it...and now I use it all the time while teaching Yoga. My students are always asking about it...and since I bought the last one in the store here, I was really happy to see that Amazon is also selling it. I'm going to be sure and let everyone know where to get it now.

This is a compilation that is ChillOut at its best. The ethnic touch is amazing and vivid, trust me, as a Pakistani, the fusion of Indian tuneage is flawless and appropriate. Even my American wifey has proceeded to monopolize the disc. Additionally, my four year old explicitly asks for it to be played as a lullaby.

I bought this on a whim, never had heard of it. I'm very glad I did! Unpretentious electronic grooves, that actually have a groove! Very cool chill out with friends music. Whenever someone hears it, they always ask excitedly "Who is this?!"

I highly recommend it!

A brilliant CD oozing with flavour, it doesn't even go back into the CD rack anymore because I always need it close to hand!

Initially I thought it was a bit pricey, but now I know it was worth every penny.

Although Nirvana Lounge I was tough to follow, Claude Challe succeeds once again with Nirvana Lounge II. His addictive music choices are carefully chosen to create yet another masterpiece that simply transcends human life. I often wander off while listening to his music. Although not fully intended for meditation, Claude Challe does set a meditative environment that simply awakens the mind allowing you to enjoy your life free from any disturbing events. As far as I can tell no one can equal his musical choices. Just listen to the first disk and ask yourself, "Why didn't I get this CD long time ago?" If you enjoy writing, this CD is perfect for opening your creative mind. For an added bonus, visit the Nirvana Lounge restaurant is Paris (3, Avenue Matignon, Paris, 75008 France).

It is difficult for me to think of another artist with such a consistent catalogue of recordings like Claude Challe. You just cannot go wrong with virtually anything in his impressive and diverse catalogue. Don't think twice about it if you can buy this CD and everything else you can get your hands on by this brilliant man.

My title encapsulates the essence of this brilliant CD. Great tunes for a chill evening with friends or alone, relaxing by the fire, drinking a fine single malt whiskey.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, worth every penny!

I can't praise "Nirvana Lounge 2" enough. It's even better than the first Nirvana Lounge set, if that's possible. All the tracks are great - not a dud among them - and they flow so seamlessly from one to the next. I've listened to this constantly since I bought it last week and I'm still hearing new things in it. Thank you, Claude!

This compilation is incredible I was never interested in this type of music before but I can now say I am converted. This music is so inspirational it takes me higher than I have ever been before. It is sweet trip around the world and back again without leaving my living room. Thank you all the artist that created the music and Claude Challe for compiling and arranging them. For anyone who is thinking of giving this type of music a chance go ahead you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!!
