This bicycle light functions well with 3 LED's and uses 3 AAA batteries, which were included and installed with a thin mylar strip that needs to be removed before the batteries can make direct contact with the electronics inside. The finish could be better on my all chrome model. There were minor defects in the finish. I've seen better. This light is not water resistant so take care in the rain. The lamp itself is about 3 1/4 inches long and the lens is about 2 1/2 inches diameter. The included bracket is black in color and designed to be attached to the screw hole in the front fork which for some is where a fender might be attached or for others the cantilever brakes. There is a plastic latch on the bottom of the bezel that looks like it could be broken easily, so take care when opening the bezel. Fortunately, the batteries in LED lights last a long time so opening the bezel will not be often. Overall, the light is good and works well. If it were water resistant with a gasket to seal the bezel and if the finish were a bit better, I would have given the product 5 stars.

I love this light. It's cute on the front of my cruiser. Puts out plenty of light with an LED and a textured plastic cover to spread the light. People see me and I can see when I bike in the dark.

Make sure you have a strobe or some other light for the back of your bike!

It's a nice light, classic design, finally one that isn't dim and fragile beyond belief. My only complaint is that it's plastic, I mean, it's nice if you're worried about weight, but my concern is durability. Ive had metal ones and accidents happen, they're usually good as new on a fall. I'm afraid if my bike tips over and this light slams onto the floor, this thing will break or leave permanent scuffs in the plastic that will cause the chrome plate to look terrible. If they would have manufactured this light in metal just as they've always done, this design, but with these modern LED electronics, it would have been brilliant. Also, the included bracket is okay, but I don't really have mounts to mount it on my fork an added bracket for the stem would have been a nice addition.

30 dollars for a plastic headlamp? Really? I was expecting a metal/aluminium lamp, but no a plastic lamp! BTW, is not water resistent...

I wanted a cool, retro looking headlight for my cruiser. For the $30 I paid, I would expect some quality but this this is cheap plastic and the LED lights don't put out enough light to even see the ground directly in front of me at night. I can't tell if the light is on or not. I have a $7 LED flashlight that puts out way more light than this thing.

Four stars because I wanted a bigger headlight. Likes-worked right out of the box, mounted it on my Mountain bike.Jumps from moderate curbs have not affected it yet. Mount is a little funky, but usable.Dislikes- made of plastic, time will tell that tale. For someone starting out new in biking, it is worth trying.

This headlamp is okay as it looks nice and increases your biciycle's visibility. It also looks decent from afar, and as far as I know these seem to be the best available retro headlights available for the price.
However, the material (which is plastic) does look cheap up close and I fear it might not be very durable. Furthermore, the LED lights are not as bright as one would expect. I would attach an extra set of something like the Waterproof Double White LED Light with Black Silicone for Bicycle ( B006DSKIQO ) to have more power.

I bought this lamp because I wanted to preserve the "retro" look of my beach cruiser. The installation is easy if you already have a hole in the fork for a reflector or brakes.

I rated this product 4/5 because the LEDs have a bluish tint and are not as bright as other bicycle lights in the same price range. Take note: this product sacrifices visibility for aesthetics. In my opinion the amount of light it does provide will keep you safe on the road at night.

The switch does not work properly from the binging and couldn't use it. I don't recommend it. It is less than One star.
