OK for price
Got the car in good time. First of all, this is not a RC car for sport, this company is a pain to replace parts for. HL is an oversees(Chinese) manufacturer and they seem to specialize in RC tanks, and like I said I had problems finding parts. This is my son's first RC car so I thought I would start him out on something slower and "Disposable" or cheaper,...

bad
i got this rc car took it for a spin and the plastic peggs to hold the body down broke so i bought new peggs and put them in and it was fixed so i took it for another spin the peggs broke again and the 4 wheel drive turned to 2 wheel drive and it sounds like it is about to blow up not to mention that the wheel broke off well hope this review helps

Got the car in good time.
First of all, this is not a RC car for sport, this company is a pain to replace parts for. HL is an oversees(Chinese) manufacturer and they seem to specialize in RC tanks, and like I said I had problems finding parts. This is my son's first RC car so I thought I would start him out on something slower and "Disposable" or cheaper, or so I thought. NOW, the car came with a faulty ESC and I happened to have am old Novak ROOSTER ESC and I had to replace the original(was total crap) and while I was under the hood, I swapped out the stock 540 with an old Trinity Gem 18T. Plus the body was mounted poorly. That being said... The car itself is made sturdy, out of the same materiel the major brands use, i.e. aluminum chassis. good plastics and good wheels and tires. GOOD radio w/ 3chlz and all the trim adjustments in digital. ONCE I swapped the ESC and Motor...this thing FLIES!!! runs good now. PROs: good construction good radio CONs: bad body work bad stock motor(duh!)most stock ones are... BADDD ESC hard to find parts I didnt mind the problems, cuz I had replacement parts and would have swapped them out anyway.
