This is definitely better than my old halogen light. It takes a little getting use to the halo on the sides. Once it is on the handle bars it is a little hard to adjust the aim. I used the smaller clamp with both of the rubber spacers to get it tight enough on the handle bars. You have to completly unscrew the clamp and use two hands to adjust the aim. The up side is that it has not moved when I have been riding. As I do riding out of the city I am still looking for a reasonabley priced light that lets you see at night on unlit roads. This is a step up.

This is a substitute for my Cateye opticube 3 leds. Cateye broke when I was cleaning it and dropped it on the floor. Niterider is much better than the opticube, for the light power and it doesn't move like the opticube used to. The support was broken when I had a bicycle fall with the support installed, but no headlight. It is worth for the price.
