this is a very heavy duty watch, but the black paint (titanium) scratched right off. i only wore the watch four times. when i called their cs department, they allowd me to exchange it for one of the two tone (titanium w/ black plastic) models. i would definitely recommend this brand, but please be aware that the all black model will not stay that way.

I have owned this watch for 6 months now. I have waited to review it to see how it has held up after a bit of use. I take if off while doing auto work or putting my hands in other machinery that may tear it up. I don't put it in water so don't know about the water resistance. It has held up well and looks like the day I received it. I have not managed to scratch up the band or glass face, which is a first for me (give me more time-HA!) and I attribute it to the titanium carbide coating. There are no alarms or stopwatch on this watch. Its a nice simple watch.

The back light could be brighter. Maybe I am just getting old. The date(day abbreviations) are in english and french on mine. I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere. You can choose which you prefer to use.

I haven't had any problems with it and I like the looks of it...so 5 stars.

I have owned this for about a month and its great. This is my second Nixon watch and im very pleased. Its a great buy. And also a very good price. It normally retails at $249.00.
