Almost as expected
Exactly the size I was looking for, will fit in backpack easily. I did not see a cover color listed when I ordered it, so took a chance on that, and rec'd black, which is fine. The pictures are of a different model, showing a snap-flap, but this Bible has a plain cover, so don't be fooled. Mine shipped from Biblestore, so yours may be different if you have another...

I was so excited when I saw this on line. The main feature was the very readable print. I was even more excited when I saw the sample pages and measured the page and saw that it was the same size as the listed dimensions. HOWEVER, when I received the Bible, I was greatly disappointed. I was so excited when I saw this on line. The main feature was the very readable print. I was even more excited when I saw the sample pages and measured the page and saw that it was the same size as the listed dimensions. HOWEVER, when I received the Bible, I was greatly disappointed. The dimensions of the actual Bible are actually smaller than what is listed. The print is also smaller. I also requested that the Bible be burgundy. I received a black cover. Will be returning the Bible to find another one.

The pictures are of a different model, showing a snap-flap, but this Bible has a plain cover, so don't be fooled. Mine shipped from Biblestore, so yours may be different if you have another seller. Type is bold and sharp, looks like about a #6. Bible looks new as advertised, good quality, in box but not plastic wrapped. Wanted the snap-flap, but will keep this because compact NKJV's are not easy to find. If you want a portable NKJV and don't mind a #5 font and less references, look at the "Companion" NKJV, which I also have, it has a snap flap and is more compact. I wanted references and a bit larger type, so this one is good for me.
