What a gem of a find, everyone should have this album! It goes right to my heart and sticks there and I never tire of it. At 3:00am it gives you comfort like your teddy bear used to, and I regret that I can only give it 5 stars. stellar! stellar! stellar!

I was so lucky to stumble upon a review of this CD when listening to public radio one day. I'd never heard of Lokua Kanza before, but I've fallen in love with his sound. It's a mix of African and Latin sounds and is breathy, sensual and uplifting. I listen to this album over and over and highly recommend it!
