5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD!, May 31, 2000

I first heard Henry on the Bob and Tom show abot 2 months ago. I just got around to buying the CD and wished that I had purchased it sooner. Not only are the songs funny, but they are also pretty catchy. "She's Talking Again" is the song I heard that made me want to buy the CD. It is a great song, but I like "Hit in the Head by a Brick" better. The only song that is not funny on the CD is "Jane (Stop this Crazy Thing)." But it is the last song on the CD (thankfully).

5.0 out of 5 stars Today's Best Comedy Music Is By Henry Phillips., October 26, 1999

I've seen Henry perform about a dozen times over the last year, when he was honing these songs to a delicious edge. One performance of "She's Talking Again" had me laughing so much I ached from it later. You'll love this collection for it's music, and singing, as well as the comedy. Give it a shot. Henry's songs are a sharp edged slice of life. Don't forget, "On The Shoulders Of Freaks," Henry's first CD. A perfect companion to this one.

I heard him yesterday on the Bob and Tom show. Here I am today wanting to buy more. An extremely funny individual. Heard songs from both CD's and couldn't get enough.

We had seen a couple youtube videos of Henry Phillips. They were quite funny so we deicded to order the CD. Aside from being funny, the the musicality was a much more than I expected. Henry is a consumate guitar player who could hold his own with any mainstream band. I highly recommend this CD. I don't think you will be disappointed.

One of the best stand up recording. I bought it for the "She's talking again" song ... a must for any man since you somewhere, maybe even in your house, will find that "chatty" women that really needs to listen to this song ... funny thing is ... most of our female friends that do not suffer from this, LOVE this song ... :)

This is a fantastic CD! For most Comedy CD's I'm happy if half the songs are funny. Even Weird Al usually has one or two not-funny songs. On Henry Phillips NUMBER TWO every single song is funny. My favorites: HEY MR. POSTMAN which has the same pleasent tone as the original but is realistic and nasty. URBAN MYTH: goes over and makes fun of many urban ledgends. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOU T IT; A brilliant satire love song
