Great,

Though it was thrown together hastily, NO BOUNDARIES is fantastic. It includes a pre-sell-out-KoRn (who still aren't very good), Pearl Jam (Last Kiss was a big push for the album. but it gets on my nerves), Sarah McLaughlin (Mary is a fantastic song, its great live), Alanis Morrisette (you can barely tell its live, its identical to the studio version, but still good), Bush(my favorite. I LOVE it.), The Wallflowers (Jakob Dylan has all the potential. He could be his father. Accept his voice is much better and his lyrics different. But I still love them both), Bens Fold Five, Peter Gabriel, Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine (pre break up. with their politically oreinted music this is a nice change. I love da Boss)and ther Indigo Girls (GO is a great song, even the studio version. I love Amy Rays voice. This is a SUPERB recording.)Just buy it.

This CD has a lot of variety on it.. but GOOD variety. From Sarah McLachlan to Korn. I especially like the Oasis song on the CD. The proceeds go to a good cause too. Don't miss this great album.

This was probably bought by more "Pearl Jam" fans than anyone. Two songs from those guys are on here, both good. Besides those, the tracks I like most are from "Rage Against The Machine", "Bush", "Peter Gabriel", and a great live "Neil Young" song. But most of them are good. If you enjoy the majority of these bands, then this is well worth it, especially used. If there's a "PJ" fan in the world who still wants this cd for "Last Kiss", it's also on their "Lost Dogs" collection.

"Merman" alone worth the purchase! And then Sarah, Pearl Jam, Indigos, Alanis, Korn, and all the others go on to make this one of the best CD purchases I have made this month! :-)

A Great CD with an Even Better Purpose,

Pearl Jam's Last Kiss is amazing, but the other tracks on the cd as a whole are what make this album worth buying, besides the fact that this is a benefit album to help the kosovar refugees. Sarah Mclachlan's live Mary is just amazing, as well as Korn, Rage Against the Machine, and Jamiroquai. They might all be big name bands, just to make money, but this cd will definitely help those in need of it. If you but this cd to help the Kosovar refugees, that is a great deed, but you're getting great music with that too. It's a win-win deal.

No Boundries is one of the better offerings from the music industry as far as benefit offerings go. As with any albums of this type, however, the best one can hope for is pot luck. Pearl Jam puts the meat in the stew with thier excellent renditions of "Last Kiss" and "Soldier of Love". Once again, the Last Men Standing in Seattle prove that experience breeds excellence as they solidify the phrase "oldies but goodies" Also notable are offerings from Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, and Alanis Morisette. Suprisingly Rage against the machine lazily tosses in a previously released track with their feiry rendition of Bruce Springsteen's "Ghost of Tom Joad". With a mix of seasoned pros and MTV buzz bin allstars, this album is something nice to throw in the CD player when nothing good is on the radio.

I was recently listening to some of my other benefit CDs, and frankly most of them suck. The MOM collections are OK, but otherwise, they are entirely unstructured and seem to be just a bunch of randomly chosen songs put together to raise money for some worthless cause. So when I received a copy of "No Boundaries" I immediately looked at the track list and realized this, too, had no universal theme in its songs. This CD has nothing to do with Kosovo. But at least the songs are good. No Kiss, the first single, shows a lighter side of Pearl Jam. As Amazon incorrectly displayed, The Ghost of Tom Joad is not by Bruce Springsteen but is a little heavier cover by RATM, who don't do much for the song but are good anyway. This album is not the greatest album in the world, but compared to some other benefit albums, it's pretty damn well worth listening to.

I bought this cd for "Last Kiss" which I'm sure a lot of people did. It was worth the money. Especially that "Solider of Love". WOW! I also enjoyed the remix of "Freak On A Leash" by KoRn. I liked that song and I didn't really want to buy the whole KoRn cd. This is just my opinion. If you don't necessarily like this kind of music then you better look before you leap (listen before you buy). I thought it was an awesome cd.

Great Bands - Great Cause,

Pearl Jam has a great single on this CD - "Last Kiss" which has already been played constantly on the radio (Well only on the good stations). Bush has a great acoustic version of a great song - "Comedown," and Rage Against The Machine also added a great song - "The Ghost Of Tom Joad." I say it is only "good" and not great because even though it is probably the best song on the CD, it does not quite match Rage Against the Machine's standards, but that is only because everything else they have done is so awesome. I would definately buy this CD, unless you do not currently own Rage Against The Machine's self-entitled CD. Then I would highly recommend you get that CD for it is one of the best CD's OF ALL TIME, IF NOT THE BEST.
