4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
What's remarkable about this album is that Blackstreet had 14 charted singles off of three albums and some soundtracks. And the ones that peaked at #54 or lower are just as strong as the No. 1s and Top 10 hits on here. It is funky, soulful, danceable and spiritual. All the hits such as Booti Call, Girlfriend/Boyfriend, No Diggety (which they won a Grammy Award for),...

All the hits such as Booti Call, Girlfriend/Boyfriend, No Diggety (which they won a Grammy Award for), Before I Let You Go, and many others are on here. Perhaps the most dramatical song on here is the last one The Lord Is Real, which is so soulful, moving, had me crying, and sounds as if it was recorded in a church. This shows the group at their best and Dave Hollister can sure be SAANGING it at the closing part of that song! Excellent closing to a compilation album!

4.0 out of 5 stars MISSING BLACKSTREET, June 20, 2005
This review is from: No Diggity: The Very Best of Blackstreet (Audio CD)
BLACKSTREET HAD THAT SOMETHING ABOUT THEM. THEY HAD THAT SOUL THAT COULD NOT BE TOUCHED AND THE VIBE THAT BLACKSTREET HAD WAS SURBERB. THEY CAN REALLY SING BUT THEY WERE CHEATED AS WELL. THEY DIDNT GET THE AIR TIME THEY DESERVE.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best groups, November 25, 2005

I love Blackstreet. Their voices are superb and their music is so good and soulful and sexy and great all round. Apart from the Billie Jean remake (which I personally don't like), all other songs are great and I especially love Don't Leave Me and Tonights The Night. I wish they were a bigger act than they are because they deserve more aclaim considering how great they really are. I just hope that they keep making more music and I know for sure I'll keep buying. This is a must buy album for any R'n B fan.

3.0 out of 5 stars Something is missing, November 9, 2003

I've been one of Blackstreet first time admirer. The New Jack Swing sound from Teddy Riley is amazing. But this best of is missing something! Where are the hot "u blow my mind" and the latest "wizzy wow" ?? 2 bad 'cause these two deserved to be put on this album!

I was familiar with this group and enjoyed some of their songs. However, this just didn't do it for me. I was glad I didn't pay full price for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good sense of Blackstreet's music of the 1990s, January 4, 2007
This review is from: No Diggity: The Very Best of Blackstreet (Audio CD)
No Diggity: The Very Best of Blackstreet opens up with the oringal verison of Baby Be Mine featured on the CB4 soundtrack after which we are taken on a musical time-line of one of the best groups of the mid nineties. All of the group's biggest hits are featured, among them, of course, the platinum-selling title cut,Booti Call and the classic ballads Don't Leave Me, and Before I Let You Go. One of the main highlights of the disc is that the disc includes quality album tracks such as Falling In Love Again, Never Gonna Let You Go and my personal favorite Money Can't Buy You Love. To sum it all up this is Blackstreet at their best.
