Pro-Pain released a stand-out with this album,

is it just me, or did Pro-Pain get a little tougher, and at the same time experimenting with bagpipes too. they have came a long way since 1999's "Act Of God".
the guitar solos absolutely crush on this release. Rob Barrett from Cannibal Corpse and Malevolent Creation lends his guitar wizardry to the song "Phoenix Rising". the song "To Never Return" really crushes when it comes on. maybe it is Pro-Pain getting tougher and not a figment of my imagination. they are also anthemic in some songs. they need to release another album this year or next.

Brutally Melodic,
This review is from: No End in Sight (Audio CD)
I've said it many times to anyone willing to listen. Pro-Pain is incapable of making a bad album. This time around they have exceeded my expectations. Foul Taste Of Freedom has been one of my favorite albums since its release back in 1992. I'll say honestly, I've been following their yearly releases eagerly since then, and this album is their next best one to their debut. All ten of the songs are catchy as hell, and equally as heavy. What also makes this album unique is that it stands out the most among their other albums as far as the melody is concerned. For examples of what I mean, listen to 'Hour Of The Time', 'Go It Alone', 'All Rise' and 'Where We Stand.' It may be difficult to get them out of your head afterwards. I can't wait for their next album.

The new meets the old..,
This review is from: No End in Sight (Audio CD)
When i first put this cd in the song LET THE BLOOD RUN THROUGH THE STREETS hit me hard and is one of the stand out tracks on No End in Sight. What we have here is a mix of the newer Pro-Pain and the older. Signs of there S/T are def. here and we are greeted with an almost punk like sing along chorus on a few songs. Don't let that stray you away cuz the music is 100% Pro-Pain and there are some killer songs on here. The song To Never Return is one of the best Pro-Pain songs i have listened to ever. If you love Pro-Pain this is a must have if you haven't heard a lot from them this cd is fresh with a ton of hooks that will draw you in..
