No-Fold Reusable Bags by Flip & Tumble

I live in a city and shop almost every day for our food, dropping by stores on the way home from work. In the past, I'd keep a plastic carrier bag in my purse to pull out when I stopped by the grocery store, but now I keep two Flip and Tumbles. They are lightweight, easy to flip back into their storage shape, and able to hold all the groceries I could possibly carry myself (25 pounds x 2). And once I've stuffed them full they are easier to hold onto than plastic bags, I just sling them over my shoulder and proceed home. Washing them is easy, and I love the colors, especially the bright aqua blue.

I got this bag because I'm always forgetting my reusable ones for those quick trips to the store since I stop on the way home from work. These bags work out really great. I got 2, threw them in my purse immediately, and the next day I was using them on a quick trip. In one I was able to carry 2 gallons of milk, in the other I had 3 1 liter drinks, 2 boxes of fiber 1 poptarts, 3 ~5" onions, 3 ~4" oranges, and a wheel of brie. They were full, but I am very happy with the amount they held, especially since I tend to overfill these bags. As far as someone saying they are wrinkly...they are but for me they are just grocery bags. Plus as you fill them up, they start to stretch out and the wrinkles go away.

I really like this product because it's easy to store in your purse, pocket, or glove box. It makes trying to be more 'green' much easier. The second feature I love about it and think is unique to the product is that it has a single 'purse strap' type handle. It's the purfect size to fit over even the bulkiest coat without problems; ladies you know what I mean. It is meant to fold up into an oragami-like ball when not in use which takes a few trys to get the hang of and tends to unfold a bit wrinkled, but it's very durable and holds a lot of stuff. I would urge you to buy just one and see for yourself and I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

Just got two of these, and I think they are really awesome!!!! I wish I had discovered them before Christmas, because they would make great stocking stuffers, or just a nice little gift for a friend that you exchange "something small" with.

And this is beautiful: you can just carry it in your purse or pocket because it's light and very compact. No more forgetting my green bags every time I'm shopping!! Yay!

I will order a bunch of these next Christmas, for sure!!

April 2010: after a few months of use, I am still in love with these bags. They couldn't be more convenient to always have "on me," and I use them for everything from grocery shopping to picking up stuff at CVS or the hardware store. I love the look on the faces of the store clerks when I whip them out and "unball" them... they always look so impressed! And make no mistake... these bags really hold a lot of weight! They are GREAT!

Even if I weren't trying to move away from using plastic supermarket bags, I would be a big fan of the Flip & Tumble 24-7 Bag.

The obvious benefits are that it's reusable and rolls up into a neat flat-ish 3" ball. It's also much larger (12"x14"x5") than a standard supermarket bag.

My favorite feature -- one that sets it apart from other reusable bags I've seen -- the strap is long enough to make this a shoulder tote. And, while the bag is made of ripstop nylon, the underside of the strap is lined with a piece of fabric that keeps the bag from sliding off your shoulder -- I love that!

Additionally, the single strap of the Flip & Tumble Bag is attached from front seam to back seam. Other reusable bags I've seen have what I consider to be a design flaw -- the straps are attached so that they run from the wall closest to your body to the outside wall of the bag, making them awkward to use as shoulder totes.

As if all this functionality weren't enough, they come in a candy store variety of colors to suit any style of dress or mood, from cool black to kooky lime green.

Highly recommended. I have one stowed at home, at the office, in the car, and in my purse.

These are great little bags, they smoosh up into a little ball that's easy to carry, and open out into a nice, medium size bag, that has handles large enough to fit over your shoulder. Strong, light, and if you buy three, you can juggle them. (ability to juggle not included.)

I really enjoy the resusable bags. My daughter likes to play with them on shopping trips. It is like a magic trick to her.

I really like these bags but the only thing is that if the shoulder strap twists it seems to cut into your shoulder and isn't very comfortable. Just make sure you straighten out the strap before you start carrying things, and they're great :)

Unlike most reusable bags, this bag stuffs into it's own inside pocket and compacts into a tiny, feather light ball that fits perfectly into the bottom of your handbag. I was given mine as a gift and have since bought several to gift to others. These are a fun way to help reduce waste by using your own shopping bags! As a bonus, they are so cute that they would make a great stocking stuffer!

These are great bags. I love how they easily return to a ball and store in your purse. They hold a lot of groceries and seem very durable.
