Anyone who reads the book will find encouragement, challenge, stimulation for her or his own relationship with God, as well as an abiding impression of Brother Roger's deep faith in Christ's love. It also includes the Taize song and words addressed to the Taize community by Pope John Paul II, and a brief outline of the history of Taize, the community that has grown out of Brother Roger's desire to communicate God's love.
