Just when I thought I'd read it and heard it all Jennifer Cohen comes along and breathes new life into an industry that's always selling quick fixes and empty promises. She's not doing that. She's honest and realistic about what we can and can't do, and what we should and shouldn't think about it all. Her book is easy to read and follow, from the workouts to the diet tips. The whole no gym required concept is great considering my gym membership is one of the things I'm debating keeping these days. It's great to know there really are options.

Book more about food and dieting instead of exercises like the promo stated. Very disappointed.
I have cook books don't need any more.

(My husband bought this book, so this is his review) I bought the book because I had heard that it was good for in-home exercise programs with a limited amount of equipment. It is very helpful for my purpose.
There is lots of good information about nutrition, recipes, exercise. The book is a bit wordy, and I get tired of reading about all the rock star stuff. It's pretty dumb.

After seeing the author appear on TV, I bought her book--and I'm glad I did!! Finally, I found a fitness and diet expert who makes sense to me and offers an easy to follow yet effective plan. I now spend less time at the gym, but feel 10x more productive.

I heartily recommend No Gym Required, it's a quick and easy read from a fresh voice in fitness.
