Once I opened this book, I could not put it down. No Happy Endings is a collection of funny short stories that are easy to read and will have you laughing out loud! The author puts an amusing twist on popular fairytales, explains five steps to appropriate cell phone usuage, and gives you insight to cats and dogs as well as many other wickedly funny tales. This book is a must read. Enjoy!

At times bizarre, quirky, demented, dark, juvenile... sometimes simultaneously. I get the feeling the author isn't looking for belly laughs here, more the unease that twisted humor causes. Should I laugh? What does it say about me if I think THAT is funny? Not for the chronically normal, if you appreciate humor-noir served up in micro-short-story fashion, it's worth a read. I found myself unable to resist "just one more" when I really should have been heading to bed.

While I did not find these stories hilarious or something I would retell it was an amusing way to pass some time. I think each story could have been developed into something a little deeper rather than a really quick anedocts.

Quick little read. I have to admit I am glad I got it for free. It's probably worth a 99 cent purchase price.

As an editing comment: the nearly unforgivable sin of apostrophes in plurals was committed at least three times.

Waste of my time. The "author" could have at least attempted some original spins on classic stories but instead the weird is just supposed to be funny.

I found this to be very amusing - lots of smiles while reading. A biting humor at its best - I do recommend it

This book is very amusing. Keeps you hooked with one story after another. Definitely must have a certain humor. My favorites are the biblical spin offs :). And the spins on classic fairy tales. Great for reading on lunch breaks as each story is short. Or even while you're working. Get a quick one read when boss isn't looking!

Hilarious - for those with a particular sense of humour.. Hope to see a lot more of these quirky little tales.

Honestly this sounds more like a blogger on an off day than a short story. They're not horrible but they're not very good either.
