Having read almost all of the books written about President Barack Obama,I was reluctant to read yet another one. But, I am grateful to Phyllis Schlafly and George Neumayr for this one because it is the only one that attempts to understand the origins of Obama's hostility to Christianity. While previous books attempt to blame the radical rantings of Rev. Wright for the President's liberationist agenda, the reality is far different. Barack Obama was radicalized well before he set foot in Rev. Wright's church. His animosity toward Christianity in general and the Catholic Church in particular is well documented in this wonderful book. Naming names of useful idiots like leftist Christians like Jim Wallis and a number of "progressive" Catholics--many of them teaching on Catholic college campuses--who share Obama's animosity to Catholic teachings on same sex marriage and reproductive rights, the authors have written a courageous book that will help inform all who read it. They have convinced me that a second Obama term will be the end of Catholic hospitals when they defy Obama's requirement to dispense abortifacients and perform sterilizations. The authors have convinced me that a second Obama term will result in the court martialing of military chaplains when they refuse a mandate to perform same sex marriage ceremonies. Military chaplains have already been pressured to do this. The threat is real--President Obama has already assaulted the religious freedom of Catholic institutions through the contraception mandate in the Affordable Care Act. This book describes the origins of this decision--and the ominous outcome...It is a frightening book--but one that I am grateful for.

Phyllis Schlafly and George Neumayr have been two of President Obama's most trenchant critics, and they don't disappoint in this new book. As someone who has followed Obama's assault on religious liberty closely, I was still shocked at the extent of the damage his administration has done. As the authors write, "Though stealth and sophistry, [Obama] is gradually transforming America into a secularist and socialist dystopia along modern Western European lines."

Obama's coercive secularism has been evident in relatively high-profile acts like his Department of Health and Human Services' mandate that most religious groups be required to pay for their employees' birth control. But, as the authors document, there are plenty of lesser known infringements of religious freedom and the rule of law, such as the administration's use of taxpayer funds to impose its abortion agenda on Kenya and spend millions to implement abortion on demand in the new Kenyan constitution in clear violation of the law.

The authors also reveal for the first time how the Catholic archdiocese of Chicago contributed to a young Barack Obama's training as a community organizer. They publish documents exposing how the church gave money to Obama to attend community organizing training with the radical Industrial Areas Foundation.

This book is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand Obama's cynical exploitation of religious belief, and for anyone who values their ability to practice their faith free of government interference.
