Sure, everyone has heard (and is probably tired of hearing) "Coconut Juice", it's the summer anthem of 2008! But you have to listen to the rest of Tyga's debut album to really get a gist of a young rapper that is all about having fun and creating music that youth can relate to more than anything Lil Wayne or Plies are rapping about. Songs like "Woww", "Don't Regret It Now" and "Press 7" are great listens, and every track is memorable. A great summer CD!

This is exactly what hip hop DOESN'T need...another popcorn rapper. This dude is mad corny! I can't wait for real hip hop to come back and save us from this crap!

This guys is anything but a rapper. "Put the lime in the coconut..." wow, how profound!Honestly, the only reason he is even on the charts is that the teenies like his tattoos and he keeps putting famous rappers he knows in his videos. This b/s where rappers are judged by thier image alone needs to end. This little 17 year old has no business trying to rap. He won't be around long though, so I'm not sweating it! |
