Music fans should get down on their knees and thank Tammy Rae Carland and Kaia Wilson for starting Mr. Lady. Without them the world may have never heard such an amazing album. In the day and age when the only teen girls getting credit from the media for making music don't write their own songs and have to show skin on MTV, Tami Hart provides an antidote for those who are sick of the "belly button girl" music.

Passion and heartache fill the songs of this album from the start. From pleading to a lover ("Drunken Love Song") to facing prejudice ("The Kids That Call Us Clowns"), Hart sings like her life is at stake. Her rich voice and amazing guitar skills place her right among most of today's most popular female singer/songwriters. Members of The Butchies and Indigo Girl, Amy Ray back Hart on this album. Hart is definitely an artist that's not fit for a label - punk lite or folk with an edge don't even come close to her sound. This album is great for those suffering from heartache, unrequited love, or those just looking for amazing music from amazing artists.

Tami's songwriting and singing is full of heartache, love, and loss...she plays her guitar and sings beautifullly. You will be surprised to find out she is only in her teens! If you like artists like Lois, Mary Timony, and Amy Blaschke, you will love Tami Hart...highly recommended!!

One of the best albums to come out of 2001. Two thumbs up to Mr. Lady Records for recruiting this brilliant new artist
