This review is from: No Lions in the Hierarchy: An Anthology of Sorts (Paperback)
Fr.Joe Dunn spent many years travelling the world with his television crew producing the religious affairs program "Radhairc" for RTE, the Irish State broadcasting company. The program, which means "view" or "vision" in Irish Gaeilge, looked at many aspects of Catholic Church doctrine and practice in many parts of the world. This excellent book, "No Lions in the Hierarchy" and his second book,"No Vipers in the Vatican" are based on Fr. Joe's experiences of the Church over many years, looking at many of the issues that affect our Church and humankind in general. The book is a must for anyone wishing to understand how the Catholic Church really works, written by loyal servant of the Church yet someone who is also able to take an open-minded and balanced view.
