Rem Q'an Tal has been searching for his Sacred Mate since he was freed from marriage to a woman not meant for him, without success. The mighty warrior is showing the strain of a Trystoni male without a Sacred Mate, the one woman in the entire galaxy who can complete him. The change starting to transform him is frightening, to say the least.

As he quests to the fifth dimension, to Earth, he finally has success. Only finding his Sacred Mate is almost enough to push him over the edge to madness. His "wee wife" is the very picture of the Goddess he worships and Rem is enchanted, to say the least. His wife, the almost-spinster Giselle McKenzie, is covered from head to toe in the most bedeviling "spots!"

Giselle is not sure what to think about the giant warrior who has claimed her as his wife. The bouts of near-madness he endures are enough to wrench her heart, but, being the attentive if exasperated wife, she soon finds the cure for his ailment. What she cannot deal with is the fascination with her freckles every man she comes across seems to have once she leaves Earth!

Although she neither understands everything happening to her or why her feelings for this gentle-giant are growing with every passing minute in his presence, she knows she loves him with her very being. She knows this man would do anything to keep her safe. When he leaves her to go help his brother and best friend fight the very creature he almost became, even though she has her misgivings, she says nothing. She can only hope she has the courage to save his family.

For sure, a bewitching sequel to 'The Empress' New Clothes." I was hooked from the first! Ms. Black's style is endearing and she writes with outstanding humor. There were other stories within this work, some simply touched on enough to get the reader's attention, others more in-depth. Even though I am looking forward to reading those stories, which I'm sure was the author's intention; I found it distracted from the main story somewhat. Overall, this book was an outstanding read and is recommended for the lover of science fiction and romantica, or for anyone simply looking for something as humorous as it is fantastical!

Jaid Black is amazing. She has created a world unlike any you've ever read before. This is the type of universe lesser authors strive forever to achieve within their pages. With every Trek Mi Q'an story her universe grows and becomes more real. Her alpha males are the best ever written and her spunky heroines give their mates what-for! Make sure you have a free evening before you start reading this because once you pick it up you won't be able to put it down. These aren't your mother's tame romances either so be prepared for some amazingly hot sex-scenes and zany adventures galore! With talent like this I'm sure we'll see this rising star become a household name in a few years. I just can't wait for more!

seventh dimension where the story takes place is not for the prudish. The ratio is ten warriors for every woman and to top it
all off there can be only one Sacred Mate for each man. So alot
of galaxy and dimension bride searching goes on. Well, King Rem's
has been searching for a while and time is running out for him.
He has a problem that only his Sacred Mate can solve!

This book is an outstanding example of romantica. The sex is steamy and the romance will make you cry. Giselle and Rem are two unforgettable characters, who engage in some unforgettable sex. This is another of Ms. Black's books that will not only go on your keeper shelf, but will end up saved on CD, on floppy, and any other place you can think of so that you'll never be without it. Don't miss it.

Book 2 of the Trek Mi Q'an series takes up where "The Empress' New Clothes" leaves off. Zor's brother, Rem, is in serious danger of irrevocably losing his humanity, or "devolving" into an uncontrollable beast if he doesn't find his true Sacred Mate. Giselle McKenzie is a freckled, saucy Aussie spinster who's trying to change her life by giving up - unsuccessfully - her virginity to a local man. Rem's and Giselle's match is preordained, but circumstances keep interfering with the claiming.

Once again, Jaid Black creates a fascinating world of erotic fantasy where the men are warriors extraordinaire and the women are there to please them - and love every minute of it. The sex is hot (and there's plenty of it), the characters are well-defined, and the dialog will keep you grinning. I eagerly await each new offering from Jaid - her imagination is endless and keeps me entertained.

No Mercy is the second installment in the series of books that Jaid Black is writing and doesn't stand alone. It is sexy, hot with plenty of action and I loved it. I can't wait for her next book...

These book should be handled with fireproof gloves. Ms Black can burn up the pages with her love scenes, plus she writes a wonderful story. Each of the books is a continuing story with the plot adding new diminesions all the time. This book has some funny scenes in how Rem's Sacred Mate handles his rage.

Jaid Black never fails to amaze me. No Mercy is just as hot and fun as the Empress New Clothes. The characters are well developed and i would like to read more of the people of Planet Tryston. Keep em coming Ms Black.

I loved this book so much I've read it about four times. If you already read the first book you will like the sexiness and the humor in this one just as much if not more. The heroine in this one is so funny you spend as much time laughing as you do reaching for a glass of ice water.
