3.0 out of 5 stars Flow but slow
This CD is not officially released and it is not in stores. This is 50 Cent's interscope mix with his G-Unit crew I guess. The beats are not original and are either sampled or taken straight out of other songs. The quality sounds like he did it in a freestyle booth while the DJ played the instrumental. They all got flow, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo both sound great but the...

4.0 out of 5 stars No Mercy, No Fear, March 5, 2003
By
This review is from: No Mercy No Fear (Audio CD)
It's not what I expected, but it's still good. The lyrics are some of the best and the beats are awesome. There are only a few really good hooks but lyrical content more than makes up for them. 50-cent ain't no 2Pac, but who is. If you only like tracks like "In Da Club" and "Wanksta" then you'll probably hate this. But if you like real rap, the stuff you'll never hear on the radio then get this album.

50, Lloyd Banks & Tony Ya Yo deliver a short but good mixtape with a few quality songs (most of them are freestyles) and a bunch of quality freestyles. Most of these I've heard before but they're good. Worth gettin a copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!, July 28, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: No Mercy No Fear (Audio CD)
This cd is absolutely great I love it the "green lantern" freestyle of 50 cent over the track till I collapse by eminem is great although you feel let down coz it is so great an then it suddenly ends you just want it to continue. "Elementry" another great one, "Banks Victory" one big great freestyle by Banks and 50 cent over an old Biggie tune good enough to be a proper song. Soldier g-unit remix is great aswell. "PT2. & Bump Heads" one of my favs on this fantastic! "G-Unit/UTP" another great track on this album there are mnay other on this which are great but I felt I would keep it short as possible so you can just buy this rather than reading this review the cd also includes a little sorta jazzed up track of "wanksta" which everyone knows by now

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, January 30, 2004
This review is from: No Mercy No Fear (Audio CD)
This is classic G-Unit material.Only true fans would like this stuff.Get Rich Or Die Tryin and Beg For Mercy are better,of course. But then again, they had much better production.Only one song is bad:Fat B!tch.Other than that, all the songs (excluding the skits)are good, great,or ok.All the songs are not on original beats, but by beats from other artists, such as Eminem & P. Diddy.

50 cent as his best in this album. g-unit is even tighter than ever. if they could keep the rest of their stuff like their underground stuff, then they would sell like hell!

Gangsta Beats! G-Unit aka Gorilla Unit is hot! Banks, YaYo, and 50 at their best. Listen for the neverending flow of Loyd Banks & Tony Yayo! They definetly hold 50 down with some added Flava to the team! "Pump Dat"!

5.0 out of 5 stars This Is 50 Cent at his best, November 10, 2002

In my opinion this is the style that 50 should have kept on his debut "Guess Who's Back". In that I mean he should have kept with the freestyle type of song. This albumn is one of my favorite underground albumns of all time if not the best. Not one song on the albumn I have to skip over minus the interludes and skits. 50 is one of the hottest up and coming artists and he is going to have a very successful career. Stand out songs on this albumn are Soldier (Remix), Green Lantern, Banks Victory, Whoo Kid, Funk Flex, Part 2 & Bump Heads and a track that is on his debut Guess Who's Back, "Wanksta". However the whole albumn is tight. I can't wait to see what 50 and G-unit comes out with next. G-UNIT!!
