4.0 out of 5 stars The South Beach Sound.....
I have to say, I love the song "Where Do You Go." I was in South Beach in a club in April of '96, and they played this song. I went to other clubs at that time and they always have played this song. So now I think of South Beach when I hear it. The rest of th CD is pretty cool. It has a hip hop/freestyle and latin twist which is cool. I was shocked to find...

No Mercy's eponymous debut is good, it scored the band 3 UK Top 10 singles, and sales of over 300,000 (Platinum in the UK) but unremarkable, hip-hop ballardry and uptempo swingbeat highlighted by the single "Where Do You Go." No Mercy is a bit too tame for fans of street level hip-hop, but they have enough hooks and beats to crossover to the charts and...

Everyone I've played this CD for has really enjoyed it. The vocals are seamless and wonderfully harmonic. The guitarist flawlessly executes some very intricate work.

I ve been living la vida loca! getting a bit of depression off and on untiluntil i saw ricky martin i literaly stood stunned in front of the t.v as he sang Livin La Vida Loca first I bought all of his and video then I went hunting my next prey was Chayanne then his movie Dance with me ahhh then i got hungrier so we got Julio Junior by mystake thought it was his brother so then I bought his brothers new lp then Magneto then last but not least! is Fabulous No Mercy I cannot tell you how happy all and any kind of spanish music makes me feel i can feel lethargic or down, then i put the music on and instantly i get up and dance about, i feel alive ive been listening to music a long time but lately the music scene is so dull i was tuning out what with tweenies and lots of manufactured groups it all sounds the same after ive put spanish music on, i can in no way listen to even the best soul music i used to love, its so romantic its so lively its so gentle they have tones and harmonizing like no other artist. in fact as No Mercy says i was sent from heaven above to love you forever......... i wish! I cannot comment on the content on the album individually as i personally would put each one at no.1 some are fast and some are slow i think thats the best one until i hear the next one, i just swoon off onto a cloud and float along to the gorgious tones and the the unbelievable arrangement of the fab spanish music. please come to u.k iam waiting to see you !

Latin music lived long before Ricky and Jennifer and No Mercy helped bring it to America's attention with this CD. This group is fantastic and their choice of songs is perfect. Though I do not speak Spanish, this trio turned me on to Latin music!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Latin Beat of Life!, July 9, 2010

No Mercy Had the style of a great male singing band. They could dance and sing and all the woman loved them. Especially in Florida, these guys ruled the air waves, but you could hear their songs 5-6 times a day on the same radio channel. These guys were the best group of the Club era.

I like the Spanish guitar, it is a bit 80s but used for modeling schools.
They can sing in Spanish, but there is only one song in Spanish. All songs are lively and fun.
