I Could Completely Relate,
By Michelle Cappiello (Cheshire, CT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: No More Bad-Hair Days: A Woman's Journey Through Cancer, Chemotherapy and Coping (Hardcover)
I thought that this book was great. I received it as a gift during my illness. As a 19 year old, battling ovarian cancer, I could relate to every part. It always made me laugh and put a smile on my face. I am now in remission and still sit down often and read the book. I always read it completely in one sitting because it is so good that I can never put it down or walk away. It puts things into perspective and helps to lighten the situation. I recommend it to everyone and am going to buy it for my friend who also has ovarian cancer. To Susan- thanks for the laughs and inspiration.

After I read this book, I felt a new promise in helping my mother fight her battle with ovarian cancer. The book gave me insight into what my mother deals with and the little things that I can do to make her life easier. Thank you to the author for her encouraging words.

One of the best books I have ever read. I'm a 34 year old female who just finished treatment for lymphoma. Ms. Hyde captured my feelings and thoughts perfectly. I highly recommend this to anyone going through a battle with cancer or to any caregivers also. I wish I had found this book when I was actually having my chemo and radiation. Some of her pointers would have helped me a lot (ie. always carry a blanket with you to chemo and to hospitals).
