This second album released by Detroit 16th century rock band GutterPups was recorded live at Lost Larry's Brownstar Cafe.
From the liner notes: "Come hear the tale of a band of minstrels
who found a golden song when their luck was so low the gutter itself seemed a palace unattainable.
Here be music to gladden the heart, quench a desert thirst & tweak the saddest cods that ever hung.
For gutterPups are meant to stomp & romp & raise a rowdy noise &
damn the proper folk who've never washed their lips with foam,
nor toasted to a dancing wench nor woke up with a stranger's whiskers in their lap.
For a Pup does not put on airs.
A Pup does not turn down a beer, deny a wink, or hold a grudge for longer than a hangover.
A Pup Plays... "
