This review is from: No More Free Markets or Free Beer (Hardcover)
This is a very readable history of the Progressive era in Nebraska. In the process of relating that history, the author essentially summarizes the biographies of three famous Nebraskans: J. Sterling Morton, Wm. Jennings Bryan, and George Norris. If you aren't from Nebraska, you still will benefit from reading this book. Each of these men played roles on the national political stage that had lasting effects on the country and Progressivism as it exists in both political parties to the present day. Highly recommended.
