Book Description

WARNING: This book contains explicit sexual content

After an eleven day stay at the hospital, Di has finally had enough.

Diana James has been abused for five years by her boyfriend, Chuck, and knows that if she doesn’t get away, he is going to kill her. With the help of a friend, Di is able to change her identity and escape him, but she can never stay long in one place because he is always one just step behind her.

Garret Starr is the owner of Starr Security and Di’s current employer. He knows all about her past after a very thorough background check, and knows she’s going to bolt any minute, but he has a secret and can’t let her go. Not to mention the fact he has fallen for the brown haired beauty.

Will Garret be able to find an incentive good enough for Di to risk staying and confront her past, or will he lose her for good?

2.0 out of 5 stars Get help! December 30, 2012

Not a bad story, but it sorely needed an editor or proofreader. Numerous glaring mistakes that I visually tripped over were annoying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Story July 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is an enjoyable story with a pretty well thought out plot. It was full of suspense. I had a little trouble relating to some of the dialogue and the transition going from narrative to dialogue. There were editing issues that need to be corrected. Overall however, it is a good story and enjoyable read. Will read more by this author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a place to heal July 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For way too long, Di let herself be convinced that there could be no escape from her abusive relationship. She knew she would be hunted down no matter which direction she ran. It took a long hospital stay from the result of her boyfriend's latest 'gift' and the healing words from a caring doctor who wasn't afraid to get involved to convince Di that there might be enough good people for her to start over and survive. And then there was Garrett. He gave her a job and a chance. She doesn't realize that he was also giving her his heart. You'll find yourself rooting for Di and wanting to offer her your own shoulder and support. Jayton Young opens our eyes to an all too often hidden world of abuse. She also shows us that there are people everywhere that are just waiting to help those who desperately need it. This book is worth reading more than once.

More About the Author

I currently live in Myrtle Beach, SC and am a full time mother who has only recently begun to take the time to concentrate on my favorite past time of writing. With all of my kids finally being old enough to have their own things to occupy their time, I have been able to resurrect old stories that I started in high school, and begin new ones. There are a million stories waiting to come to life, and with the support of my family and friends, I am looking forward to sharing them all with other avid readers.

I write edit and publish my own books, and though I had a rocky start, I am doing much better - practice makes perfect. I do warn that a lot of my books will include sexual situations and some menage scenarios, but there will always be a warning on the title page.
