5.0 out of 5 stars A one of a kind book!, December 31, 1999
This review is from: No More Silence: An Oral History of the Assassination of President Kennedy (Hardcover)
Over the past 35 years, America has often wondered about the assassination of JFK. I have read and reviewed over 25 books on the subject alone. Larry Sneed's compilation, No More Silence, is one the best I have ever read.

What has set this book apart from most others is Sneed's ability to let the witnesses tell their story. For the first time you can read what those who were there actually thought and felt - a remarkable job.

Over 45 eyewitnesses, from average citizens to police offices and sheriffs to several Government officials, get to tell their story, this time without interference or pressure.

The book reads quickly and is gripping from the first page to the last. This text is surely a must read for those interested in the assassination of those who are heavily involved in research. This makes a great addition to my library!

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent book!, July 29, 1999
This review is from: No More Silence: An Oral History of the Assassination of President Kennedy (Hardcover)
I have been studying the Kennedy assassination for more than 20 years. The names of Carl Day, James Leavelle, Roy Vaughn, Marrion Baker, Vincent Drain and many others are familiar characters in this incredible drama. However, we have never really heard their words about their experiences, only what the Warren Commission or dozens of authors claim they said. Well, 'No More Silence' gives these gentlemen a voice. Larry has done an excellent job in getting the candid, and sometimes conflicting, eyewitness reports of these men. This book is even more important in that many of these men have died since the author starting interviewing them more than a decade ago. I highly recommend this indispensible book for the believers, the skeptics, the researchers, the historians and those who are interested in the tragic and confusing historic event know as the Kennedy Assassination.

5.0 out of 5 stars ABSORBING, INFORMATIVE AND TRUTHFUL, April 15, 2002
This review is from: No More Silence: An Oral History of the Assassination of President Kennedy (Hardcover)
Larry Sneed takes the reader to the true and reliable witnesses to the assassination - the people who actually took part in the events of that tragic weekend. These accounts leave no doubt in the mind of the reader about what actually happened.Sneed's book is a must read for the rational minded who find the distubing excesses of conspiracy theorists too hard to swallow."No More Silence" will rank alongside the assassination books which are authoratative, devoid of speculation and paranoia and have withstood the test of time.

No More Silence: An Oral History Of The Assassination Of President Kennedy by Larry A. Sneed is a solid primary reference of a shattering event that changed America forever. The personal testimonies of eyewitnesses, policemen, and people involved in the transfer of Oswald fill this solid reference book that adds the weight of human emotion and perspective to shelves of historical analysis. A "must" for Kennedy assassination conspiracy buffs, No More Silence is a unique, uncensored, and very highly recommended reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is an ecellent book., February 6, 1999

This review is from: No More Silence: An Oral History of the Assassination of President Kennedy (Hardcover)
I consider this book to be one of the more important books in recent years on the assassination. It simply presents perspectives by many of the key people present in Dallas in 1963, many who have never been quoted before. It is a valuable resource to a legitimate examination of what happened on November 22, 1963.

Loved this book, opened such a wide door into history. it meant so much more to me because i have a relative who gave his testimony in it.
Well written, rivetting you can hear the people speak as you read their testimony. And feel the pain of that historic day in every word.

This review is from: No More Silence: An Oral History of the Assassination of President Kennedy (Hardcover)
NO MORE SILENCE takes a unique look at the Kennedy assassination by using the technique of oral history: the actual words of 39 witnesses to the events in Dallas. This book breaks new ground and belongs in the library of every serious Kennedy scholar.
