Great Fun!,

This review is from: No More Yawning! (Hardcover)
I bought No More Yawning for my daughter's 8th birthday. She is a big fan of Paeony Lewis' writing and she had read a previous Florence and Arnold book, No More Cookies, that she had enjoyed and she was anxious to see what Florence and Arnold would do this time around.
This book is full of clever ideas for helping children get to sleep (and full of the ways that children 'get around' those ideas.). We loved seeing which of us could yawn the biggest! And just the word yawn seemed to make us all start yawning. This book on its own could be the book that puts your little one to sleep with all that yawning. And they are sure to love the antics of Florence and Arnold as they try soooo hard to go to sleep. Katrina loved the illustrations and yawning big.

A fine tale of bedtime rituals,

This review is from: No More Yawning! (Hardcover)
Paeony Lewis' NO MORE YAWNING! tells of Florence and her plush animal who are supposed to go to bed - but the girl and her toy monkey can't possibly go to bed now - there's simply too much to do, what with bedtime stories, lullabies and sheep to count. A fine tale of bedtime rituals emerges.
