The follow up to "Bridges" is another sonic masterpiece. Produced again by Neil Osborn from 54-40, this Canadian outfit continues to put out psychedelic pop gems. Alternating between male and female lead vocalists, each song burns with crisp guitars, lush vocals ands driving rhythms. Heading For Nowhere, Weathervanes and Fully Shed are my standout tracks but each song stands on its own merits. This band is reasonably popular in Canada but deserve a greater following. Check them out - you won't be disappointed.

i got 2 cds by these musicians- I like this one better then bridges- if your trying to decied which one to buy first- anyway if your looking to try something new this is a great one. If you like Moody blues-Supertramp-alan parsons this will be up your ally dont miss out-probbably the BEST new group of the 2000s. Although The Grey Race "Give it love" Is almost to me the same quality- I often play them back to back like a double Album.

While the first release, Bridges, was very good, "No Nations" blew me away. On the "Bridges" release, you can hear their influences. On this release, they refine their sound to the point of becoming something quite original and unique. Songs often start out sparse, with driving base lines, then building with layers as the song proceed, often with very subtle touches. Long-distance reverb vocals and various instruments melding seamlessly into an overall sound that both grabs your attention and relaxes. Lay down in bed with your headphones and you will be hitting the replay when it's done.
