Straight Garbage!,

I absolutely love Digital Underground and I thought this CD would have the full versions of all the songs that I bought it for. I was HIGHLY disappointed when I bought it and listened to it just to learn that "The way we swing", "No Nose Job", "Packet Man", "Kiss you back" and "Return of the Crazy One" were all remixes--and not extended remixes with more to funk to--SHORTENED remixes that are not as good as the originals. I hate to give DU anything other than 5 stars, my beef is clearly not with them or the quality of their music, its this garbage CD that short changes you with half-arse songs. One star may be a little harsh, the music is still great, but Im just upset that the 9 minute tracks have been shortened to 4.

Party People,

In recent years the world of Hip Hop has become a dark and serious genre and listening to this album reminded me that Hip Hop is dance music, and I would compel any one not get up and dance to the sounds of the Underground. Originally I had only been aware of the two classic Digital Underground tracks 'The Humpty Dance & Doowutchyalike' great songs in their own right but after listening to the rest of the album they only feel like the tip of the iceberg. Every song is worthy of merit mixing throwaway lyrics and funky beats, the best party album in the world ever. Simply I have told everyone I know to listen and enjoy.

The nose still knows!,

A lot of rap acts gave way to personal, social, and economic issues in their songs, and, while we listened and bonded with the messages, we also needed a little fun and humor to lighten the load. Here is where Digital Undergound came in. A talented group of rappers who dove into the sexual revolution like a olympic event, these guys made songs that were over the top, yet had parties jammin' all over. They were fun to listen to, and their aggresiveness was the hook to make each and every tune almost a urban catch phrase that won't be forgotten by anyone who enjoys old school as much as I do. Thanks for the memories!

All of the group's hits! The Full Lenght Versions. The group had several Out-Of-Place tracks throughout their 'Original' Albums that always seemed rather pale in places. This collection hits right on the spot with Back-To-Back Hits & Smashes such as The Billboard Platinum Top Ten Hit Single "The Humpty Dance", The Billboard Gold Top 20 Hit "Kiss You Back", Billboard Top Ten Album Track "Same Song", Along with 4 (Four) other Billboard Charted Hit Singles! Plus several selected album Favorites! AGAIN...ALL ON ONE COMPACT DISC or VINYL! Who could ask for more??? If you are a lover of Parliament/Funkadelic and don't mind a little Hip Hop (In the mix) you'll truly enjoy this collection! Pick this up A.S.A.P.!

Digital Undeground is amazing. The best song ever is Freaks Of The Industry and Doowutchyalike. I love this cd. Digital Underground and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince are the best ever.

This review is from: No Nose Job: The Legend of Digital Underground [Vinyl] (Vinyl)
After searching for the past two years for an unopened, unused record of the original Humpty Dance, I was very happy to find this album. It is a must-have for DJs, as it includes all of the original hits from Digital Underground. The songs, although old, still sound great and still move the crowds.
