i really only knew jeffrey ross from his appearances on the comedy central roasts, and just as funny as he is at roasting people, i found out his stand up act is no different. he's especially funny when he grabs individuals out of the audience and lays into them. he's quick on the draw. and dead on. i'll definitely recommend this special to anybody.

This DVD proves the very fact that Jeff Ross is indeed the RoastMaster! He's very quick on his feet with insults and creative as well. I actually saw him perform a week ago and it was great. I had the honor to be roasted by him on stage, and got to meet and speak with him after the show too! Support Jeff Ross!

Jeffrey Ross is great! If you have seen him on any Roast on Comedy Central and thought he was funny,then you have to get this!

He definitely knows how to roast. His stand-up routine is great, even the piano+poem segment for a while. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 simply because he carried too long with the poem routine.

I'd never seen him before, so this was my first experience. Enjoyed the performance a lot. Mostly smiles, but a lot of tiny laughs toward the end when he was reading his poems. A fun performance and look forward to seeing more of him.

This is from a TV broadcast I saw once on Comedy Central. It is sooo dang funny! I highly recommend it. It is not sold in stores. My favorite stand up!

Wife even watched it with me. There was not a lot of continuous laughter from us, but the few things we liked we still quote from time to time..... "Cookies are a sometimes snack!" YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Not Jeffrey Ross's best.I was very disappointed with this video.He needs to stay on comedy central with the celebrity roasts.

When he does roasts he is usually really raw and funny. This bit isn't bad. I've see a lot worse. What's funny about this guy is he makes fun of other people but look at the outfit this d-bag wears on stage. Some shiny snakeskin boots with a leather jacket and what looks like SATIN pants and a shiny belt - really awful outfit. I imagine this guy drives a 1988 Firebird.

I've never been a fan of insult comics. Their job is extremely easy. There are bound to be a lot of different types of people that come to a show and you just pick out people to make fun of based on how they look. Anyone with half a brain can do this.

The funniest thing about this bit is the reactions in the crowd. Did they take these reactions from THIS show? I can't believe anybody is laughing as hard as these people are from this show.

The best part of this performance is not Jeff but the dude he brings up on stage at the end - Larry. Larry is awesome.

great comedian and roaster! excellent deal that i got on dvd. would recommend to anyone whose a fan of roasts, the special features aren't half bad either.
