5.0 out of 5 stars Real, Gut Wrenching and Heartbreaking, January 20, 2009
This review is from: No One To Hear Their Cries (Paperback)
If you want a realistic look at what a woman can go through when considering abortion this is it! The author narrates the story then suddenly you feel like you are smack in the middle of what's happening at that moment. The description in the abortion procedure rooms are vivid and you feel like you are right there seeing every movement! I found it easy to read and follow. I personally appreciate the fact that the author acknowledged that throughout it all, God was constantly trying to stop her but she would not listen until finally, she found herself holding her aborted baby in her hand! Wow! Talk about shock! It took the "Shock and Awe" effect to make her see what God had been trying to tell her all along! She praises God for her rescue and forgiveness. She has a great message in her book for those willing to open their minds and listen.
Surely worth reading, especially for teens.

4.0 out of 5 stars Struggling with Abortion Before, During & After! A True Emotional Roller Coaster, November 19, 2008
This review is from: No One To Hear Their Cries (Paperback)
You'll surely feel the pain and anguish this writer went through as she is faced with untimely pregnancies. Although she believed in God, she was not walking or even talking with God during these trying times in her life. It's a good look at how we get caught up in situations that seem innocent at first but actually are leading us down a dangerous path. This story will show you how we can get caught up in believing whatever society says is ok instead of trusting our hearts & morals. You'll read about the struggle to have each abortion and then the writer actually takes you with her during the procedure. You will see, hear and almost feel like you were right there with her while it was happening! You'll also feel her pain afterward that never completely goes away. What shocked me most was the part when she held her aborted baby in her hand after her last abortion! It will bring tears to your eyes but will certainly show anyone that has any doubts, that these are tiny human beings that are being destoyed and the writer does a good job of describing every little detail. The story can get a bit graphic at times but an easy read that's well worth the time.
