The Man Who Listens, February 10, 2001
By A Customer
Even though this book was written in the early sixties it is still relevant today. The souls all come for different reasons but it is clear that all leave with true faith. All expected someone quiet different than who they found. I see myself in them all at different times throughout my life. I first read this book over ten years ago and find it is still one that I will reread quit often. I highly recommend all Caldwell books.

Truly He IS the One Who Listens, April 26, 2010
I first read this book when I was in either high school or college. I was looking for books at that time with Christian themes, because as a new Christian, I wanted further thought and encouragement.
I absolutely loved this book. The last chapter is worth it all. Oh my! It is powerful, hard-hitting, and will give you a great deal to think about. Every chapter leads up to the final chapter, which you could expect to be between good and evil.
And if there was any doubt about who The Man Who Listens is - the final chapter will tell you exactly what people see and feel.
A great sequel to The Listener - the only complaint I have is that there doesn't seem to be a modern written compliment to it. I'd love to see it written for today - even though you read it, and it seems like it was just written yesterday.
Writing styles have changed though and the reading public doesn't want a lot of narration, but crisp, snappy dialogue. I love it though, and the copy I got, even though used, serves me well.

Healing in the written word., October 22, 2007
Taylor Caldwell is a superb author from our past. This book helped inspire and strengthen me 35 years ago. I needed a boost and remembered this book. Thankfully, I found this book again through Amazon. I wish young people would read more, and find the value of great literature. There is much wisdom in the written word. "No One Hears But Him" is a great example of moving beyond ourselves to something much greater.
