A continuation of the same excellent vibes of "Memoire: The French Sessions" (2005), Mr. Breakstone once again delivers the goods. This time with songs included from his bassist, Lisle Atkinson ("Come On Baby"), Jimmy Rowles ("The Peacocks"), and Joe Henderson ("The Kicker"). His range polishes this one supreme. Also, for the young aficionado, a great companion to Joshua's new book,
Jazz Etudes: Studies for the Beginning Improviser. Check out "No One New". You won't be disappointed.
