5.0 out of 5 stars This Shoulda Been A Trainwreck
I can't believe I'm the first person to review this album! This is one of my favorite ever jazz albums of the oughts, and I think it should be in the home of anyone hip enough to look it up on-line.
Like I said, this really could have been a disaster. Take The John Lurie National Orchestra- subtract John Lurie and add a DJ. But this is not a nightmare of...

3.0 out of 5 stars for no one in particular
This is a live recording of a show---and though I am sure it was a great experience for those involved---it just didn't translate well to cd format.. For Logic, Weston and Martin fans you may want to give a listen anyway, just don't expect too great of things. Anthony hanley

Like I said, this really could have been a disaster. Take The John Lurie National Orchestra- subtract John Lurie and add a DJ. But this is not a nightmare of percussion. Instead you have one of the most densely textured CDs I've ever heard that wasn't put together by King Tubbys. It's psychedelic in a way that rock music just isn't anymore. I feel stoned just looking at the cover. This will sound futuristic even after we run out of future. I can't recommend this highly enough. If I were to review this album when I was in first grade I'd give it infinity stars.
