4.0 out of 5 stars YA Charmer July 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A readable collection of short stories with upbeat YA themes. Each narrator faces a challenge, from living with a grandma who has Alzheimer's, to having divorcing parents who remarry and create blended families, to young women who pay too high a price for high school "popularity." Each story teaches a solid life lesson, but each one is unfolded gently, in the young narrator's own language. Parents and teachers alike can recommend this collection of stories to young readers with confidence in the author's common sense and solid values.
