His bet album ever!!,

This review is from: No Regrets (Audio CD)
This album is like listening to a whole season of concerts in one sitting. He performs on two rare Michael Jacobson-Hardy handmade cutaway guitars, as well a 1948 vintage Gibson L7 jazz guitar and a Godin Jazz Multiac synth-guitar. In addition, he deftly coaxes echoes from cultures around the world playing the North Indian sitar and tabla, West African djembe, balafon, djun-djun, Lakota flute, and other instruments which he plays with equal virtuosity.Nobody can define his music as world music. He explores a genre-defying variety of styles, including jazz, world fusion, western classical counterpoint, flamenco, North Indian, and Native American.

Randy's work with Doa (later Do'ah)is amazing and his solo and duo albums are just as wonderful. Randy's music is best categorized (if you must) as "world music" but it defies boundaries...it is lovely and exquisite music...full of rhythm and lovely melodies. I highly recommend this and all of his music. An extraordinary musician is he.

All I can say is that I've listened to this album so many times that I have all of the guitar melodies, harmonies, and everything in-between memorized. There are no lyrics, but there is no need for them. Check out the cover art on this CD - a beautiful sunset describes this album perfectly. Melodic and soothing...
