I have really, really long hair, but short bangs, and prefer not to wash the whole dang set every single day. This product is wonderful for "washing" my bangs on off-days. It's also wonderful stuff for camping or backpacking (or travelling to places where you're not sure you'll have as frequent access to a bath as you'd like).

I agree with the earlier, lukewarm review that notes it's not easy to use on long hair - though it will work if you use enough (you have really pour it on, really douse yourself). Generally speaking, you don't get as squeaky or shiny a clean as you're probably used to with normal shampoo; on the plus side, it has a lovely conditioning effect.

It's helpful to have a small towel (or at least a washcloth) handy, to mop it up before it runs in your eyes, and to rub out the stuff overall once the lather has died down. It's not thick and goopy like normal shampoo, but runny; more the consistency of old-fashioned setting lotion. (If you're too young to know what that's like, think of Jello before you set it in the fridge, or maybe a rich hot chocolate without marshmallows.)

Pleasant - not overwhelming - smell, too.

I love this stuff. I wish I could buy it by the gallon here!

This was a great help to both my parents in their declines before passing, as well as a great help to me during one of my dogs' decline before I had to put her down (she had some, er, hygiene issues). It works very well and exceeds expectations in every way. Wish I'd never had an opportunity to use it but glad it was around when I needed it.

I had surgery recently and this product worked great. I used it twice, while in the hospital, and a number of times after I returned home. I am one of those people who is used to washing their hair daily. I would apply the No Rinse Shampoo, lather it up, towel dry and style. I have fairly short hair so it was easy to work with. It didn't feel quite as clean as washing it in the shower but close enough to make me happy.

No Rinse Shampoo lives up to its name. I've been unable to wash

my hair because of illness. For short hair, it should be just fine. I have long hair and ran into a lengthy shampoo because it

was very hard to keep all the hair wet. Because of that, I had no

lather. I did manage to wash my hair but blue stains which washed out were left on the towel and my hair took a very long time to dry. However I would use it again if my hair were shorter or on someone else who had short hair. The amount of shampoo needed for

long hair is too much. I would recommend it for someone bedridden

if another person were doing the shampoo.

I recently had back surgery and was not allowed to take showers for a number of weeks. Sponge baths worked ok for the body, but washing the hair was a problem as chances of getting the water on the scar (and thus risk of infection) were high. I was miserable not being able to wash my hair until someone told me about No-rinse Shampoo.

Small things make a big difference when you are hospitalized/recovering from surgery. No-rinse shampoo removed one of the things that was making me feel bad and I am so pleased someone told me about it.

My hair is very long, close to my waist and I bought this to keep from washing it too frequently and drying it out. And you never know if we'll get another ice storm and lose power again! this stuff works and does what it says. Your hair does feel cleaner and fresher and you dont have to worry about greasy roots!

The person I bought this for is completely bed-ridden and can't get out of bed. Anyway this shampoo is great. It works on hair and beards. Just put one or more towells under the head and carefully apply to hair (it has the consistency of soapy water) and rub. Comb hair, apply more until you are satisfied. Same with beard. Fantastic. Beyond belief. Nice and clean. Wow. Smiles

After breaking her hip, my Mom was hospitalized for over three months following surgery for rehab. I was reluctant to use this No Rinse Shampoo initially, but decided to give it a try anyway. It worked great & left her hair extremely clean & smelling wonderful. I used it over several weeks & noticed no hair damage or negative aspects. It is a convenient & excellent alternative when shampooing of the hair is not an option. I recommend it heartily.

This product actually worked as described. Very useful on my boat when I'm trying to conserve shower water. Takes me less than 2 minutes. Someone with long hair would take a little more time. It would also be useful when camping or any other time you need to do a quick shampoo and you don't have time or access to a shower, like when my entire family used it daily for a week when when we had no hot water due to a pipe leak. Could even be done in the car as long as you have a towel around your neck. Will definitely continue to use when the need arises.

I would like to thank AmeriMed Direct for their quick delivery. I ordered this product Wednesday a.m. and received it Thursday a.m. before 8:00. It's a great product and I love it. This product is wonderful for people not able to have their hair shampooed the regular way.
