About the Author
E. S. Zameen, author of No Rooz: Our Persian New Year (Kudakon Publishing), was first introduced to Persian culture when she met and married her husband who was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She found it to be a warm and generous culture. They now have four children and have celebrated No Rouz each spring for almost twenty years.
Mrs. Zameen gave numerous presentations in her childrens classrooms explaining Persian New Year. Early on, she felt the need to have a book about No Rooz that she could share with her childrens teachers. Finding little available, she decided to write one herself.
The author and her family now reside, clean the house, grow sabzi, jump the fire, give Ay Dee, and go picnicking, all next to the mountains of Cedar City, Utah.
