5.0 out of 5 stars They don't want No Scrubs!
TLC's R&B image will never fade away. The single "No Scrubs" is a proof. Here are the tracks: 1.) No Scrubs (Album Version) --- this is the "clean" version which doesn't express the words as freely as what is in the album. 2.) No Scrubs (Main Mix - featuring Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes) --- this is the reason why I bought this CD. The...

3.0 out of 5 stars It was good, but kept repeating the lyrics
I wanted to rate this 3 1/4, but I rounded. So, this song was actually pretty good, but it kept repeating No, I don't want no scrub thousands of times!

The rap of Left-Eye really makes you groove up! 3.) No Scrubs (Instrumental) --- you can sing to it and dance with it! 4.) Silly Ho (Album Version) --- it's sort of a preview of the "Fanmail" album, because it is included on the highly-acclaimed record. Now, buy it! You won't ever be sorry!

5.0 out of 5 stars Their best song ever, January 24, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: No Scrubs / Silly Ho (Audio CD)
This is their best song ever, easily. It is addictively catchy, and the sassy chorus is just so cool. No, I don't necessarily think they're dissing men in general or even men who don't get paid a lot. This is more about dissing guys who have no ambition, no goals in life, perverted lazy asses, basically (as heard in the intro to this song on Fanmail). Dude, if you wanna hear some really offensive lyrics towards men, listen to TLC's "Girl Talk." THAT is a song that goes too far with its disses. "No Scrubs" is sweet compared to that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, October 17, 2002
This review is from: No Scrubs / Silly Ho (Audio CD)
Usually, I don't find Lisa's raps the "highlight" of their songs, but it IS the highlight of this one, and it should have had this version on the album.
And you critical people... GEEEEEEEZ, it's just a song, first of all, and doesn't mean their dissing every guy out there (I don't feel dissed) and second of all, if they are dissing people, it's LAZY guys who they're talking about, not people who are struggling for money & stuff.

I bought this CD Single for the version of No Scrubs with Lisa Left Eye Lopez since that version isnt on the album. It's on this one but it's edited. They edit the word ho and a&& out of the song. Example: (Cant get with no dead beat ***. (Ask Chili could I be a silly **.)
They take the words out of the song.
If this is the only version of the song available with Lisa Lopez then im satisfied, at least I have it but im a little disapointed with the editing.

If you are looking for the very popular version of this song featuring Left Eye rapping, this is it. That version, which appears in the video, but doesn't show up on this album appears on this single as the "Main Mix". It's worth the price of the compact disc to hear this awesome version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Magical..., June 16, 2003
This review is from: No Scrubs / Silly Ho (Audio CD)
This song has the most best and magical tune and best ever. The lyrics is kinda down and does disses alot of men out there. But come on, it's a song. Undoubtfully, it's my favourite song ever. The Left-Eye remix is a flawless piece of art, the tune is perfect, beat is great, wot more do u want? It's the best song out there!

"Scrub is a guy that thinks he's fine" That line totally describes my brother in reality he looks like a dog. My brother's name is Jose M. He's 10 but thinks he's about 17 yrs. old.
