Best rendition of Piazzolla's seasons I've ever heard,

I admit it. I'm a Piazzolla snob. Even though I own a few recording of Piazzolla's music by other artists I never put them even in the same category... until Malikian and his talended troupe laid hands on the Four Seasons. Malikian's violin is sublime! I don't miss the bandoneon in this recording at all. Gracefully and exquisitely arranged. I particularly like the playful inclusion of "colors" from Vivaldi's seasons in parts of Piazzolla's work: just a little glimppe as to make contrast, not so much as to overpower Piazzolla's.

The best reference for Piazzolla work,
This review is from: No Seasons (Audio CD)
I bought this album through the review of SA-CD.net and I am completely agree with Geohominid, the reviewer of this site. This album is marvellous, from the perfomance to the surround sound, in which the listener virtually seats as the conductor.
I own also the original Gidon Kremer's "Eight Seasons" which brought to me the marvelous experience of discover the magic of Piazzolla's work. But now, this work sounds old comparing with this new release. I recommend it together with the marvelous works of Joan Valent and Jorge Grundman, two very beautiful works about the seasons.
