geshia block style pillow not as advertised, September 29, 2006
The pillow pictured on amazon and with the adult model is not the pillow you receive. The pillow is the size a small child might use. I was very disappointed to say the least.

Don't wash it!, April 4, 2007
Or if you do, don't follow Mr. Crisp's washing instructions. They are as follows:
How do I clean my buckwheat hull pillows and futons?
My Therapy(tm) buckwheat hull products are easy to clean. Simply unzip the 100 percent organic cotton casing, empty the hulls into another container and throw the casing into the wash. Both the washer and dryer should be set on "hot". Smaller pillows can be thrown into the washing machine without emptying the hulls, if desired. And, users can purchase additional buckwheat hulls from the My Therapy(tm) site at any time
If you do this, the pillow casing will shrink to the size of a toy pillow. And if you contact Mr. Crisp, he will offer to sell you a replacement at a discount. If you point out that he has wronged you by providing false care instructions, he will rescind the "generous" offer of selling you what you've already paid for at a discount.
If you want a buckwheat pillow, buy one from a reputable manufacturer.

Beware of Jack Crisp!, April 4, 2007
I bought this product in good faith from Mr. Crisp (a different size, actually), and when I received it, the futon casing smelled of cigarette smoke. I washed and dried it per the instructions on his web site's FAQ (the futon itself comes with no care instructions), and it shrunk from 80"X30" to 70"X20". I had washed and dried it on HOT, as per his web site's instructions.
I contacted Mr. Crisp with my problem, and he denied that his FAQ contained the information that I had seen. He offered to sell me a replacement casing at a discount.
I sent him a JPEG and link to his FAQ, which contained the following:

When I said that he was legally and ethically required to replace the product, since I had followed instructions and the instructions had destroyed the futon mat, he said that he was aware of no law holding manufacturers responsible for the accuracy of their care instructions and rescinded his "generous" offer.
If you buy a buckwheat futon, buy one from someone else.
