An album to collect!,
By Hiram Gomez Pardo (Valencia, Venezuela) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (TOP 1000 REVIEWER) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: No. 1 Smooth Jazz Radio Hits (Audio CD)
This compilation includes several emblematic recordings of this genre since the dawn of this new millennium. But to my mind the highlights of this album are in first place "Evil Ways" performed by Fattburger, a remake that may regarded as the best version in Smooth Jazz ever played from Santana, "Waterfall", played by the versatile sax player, Kim Waters; "Watermelon Man" version by Herbie Hancock, played with exceptional good taste by Nestor Torres, "Cruise control" by EFX, "Sarao" by Chuck Loeb is work hovered by a visible Latin taste, "Hi Heel Sneakers" by Urban Knights and finally, "My girl Sunday" by Chieli Minucci.Recommended without hesitation.
