binding for book in poor state,

The paperback arrived with so-called "perfect binding" (i.e. glued but not bound) and immediately fell apart when it was opened. The book company sending the book paid some compensation but it amounted to only a portion of the total costs. I had agreed to that amount in order to avoid further hassle.
