Whatever the technical virtuosity of the musicians, the compositions they play are just not very interesting. Really a disappointment, because from what I'd heard of Gary Willis, I was excited to get this album.

From begining to end, this project lays it all out there.....Willis is amazing.....All the Tribal Tech stuff is great too....check it out...

Gary Willis is a simply phenomenal bass player. Victor Wooten may be well into the upper stratosphere, but Gary is right there with him in high earth orbit. This, Willis' freshman solo album takes the talent, finesse and versatility he showed both on Tribal Tech's many great entries and on his second solo album, Bent, and show that Willis is a master worth watching. He'll be leading us to new highs in the future.
