5.0 out of 5 stars Great for travel
The cover up is perfect for going out on those cold days. It keeps baby nice & cozy warm without worrying about a blanket falling or blowing off. It's a must have for a winter baby!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not very useful for my baby
I never got to use this for my daughter even though she was 3-6 months through the winter. Every time I tried to use this it tickled the sides of her face and made her want to nurse. This may not be a problem for a taller baby or a bottle fed baby (I don't know) but it never worked for us.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Winter Weather Lifesaver, October 1, 2004
This review is from: NoJo Baby Cover-Up- Navy Patch (Baby Product)
This is one fabulous product! It's a built-in blanket for your infant seat and is installed in a snap. It's a hit at baby showers and can be laundered easily.

Features: baby is protected during inclement weather, parents have easy access to baby, and baby's climate can be controlled with a zip up or down. The best part: if baby is sleeping upon your arrival simply unzip the cover and let the snoring continue. There will be no waking the baby while you pull off a pram or snowsuit. Bonus!

This would be right at the top of my "must have" list for new mothers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the cover., October 25, 2004

(...) It is one of the things I definately do not leave home without. It keeps baby warm and cozy and if he's too hot in the car, you can unzip it. Much better than the snow suits and coverups which are extremely bulky.

The one thing I don't like about it is that his head does not fit where the hole is. He's not a small baby so I don't think that's it. He should just grow into it.

Either way, it's great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awsome carseat cover., December 6, 2004
This review is from: NoJo Baby Cover-Up- Navy Patch (Baby Product)
No more having to bring a blanket. No more blanket's blowing away or falling off. It is very thick and lined with pseudo sheep wool. I didn't get the blue one, I got the coduroy brown one. The zipper is handy. I can leave it open on less cool days and not have to take it off. I DO still put a coat on my baby before I put him in the car seat, but it's not always necessary.

I like the fact that it comes with the soft loops to connect the cover tightly. I get questioned on where I got the Nojo cover up all the time. This is an item that I use everytime I use the car seat in the winter. I strongly recommend this item if you live in a very windy, or cold area.

5.0 out of 5 stars Especially for Winter Babies!, April 10, 2005
This review is from: NoJo Baby Cover-Up- Navy Patch (Baby Product)
My son was born in mid December, and in Texas (at least this year!), it meant COLD COLD COLD! Using this meant no blankets flying away in the wind, and no blankets to fumble with while snapping the infant seat into the base (they'd always get caught in between the seat and base). It also covered all around his face, which blankets don't do. The inside of mine has fuzzy wool-like material, and it's insulating and keeps him warm. I didn't have the blue one, but a brown corduroy one. It also has loops on the side to keep the sides down and the wind out. I'd definitely recommend it for the winter babies. It's a must-have!

This is just wonderful. Every mom must have it. On very cold days, I'll put an added layer on my son but for the majority of the time, I don't use anything but the cover. It's wonderful to not have to put a bulky coat on him --he's comfy in his car seat and warm at the same time.

This works great, and even fits out Britax convertible car seat. What a great invention! And it's so convenient in cold weather areas.

3.0 out of 5 stars Try it with your car seat first, January 10, 2006
This review is from: NoJo Baby Cover-Up- Navy Patch (Baby Product)
Now that my son is bigger this works fine. At first the hole for his face was too high, his face was in the zipper part. I couldn't use it until he was about 2.5 months old and he is a big baby. Also the straps on the side don't really fit my car seat well. I had to improvise. I have a Graco car seat. But now that his head is higher it works great. However because the straps don't work well for my car seat I think cold air can get in the sides. What I like is that it doesn't take up room inside of the car seat, like others do. The problem with those, is that the straps in the car seat can get too tight for your baby with all of the cushion inside.
