Now that my daughter is too big to cart around in her car seat carrier, this product is a lifesaver! Grocery cart handles are a breeding ground for all kinds of bacteria, and my 7-month old loves to chew on them - YUK! This is the best seat I found for the following reasons: (1) It was priced right. ... (2) It's all ONE piece. There was a similar product with 3 pieces, and I could just picture them falling all over the parking lot in the wind and snow! (3) It's comfy-cozy - my daughter loves it!

My son has always been tall for his age, and he quickly outgrew his infant carrier, so I no longer had that for him to sit in when we went shopping. Unfortunately, he wasn't strong enough to sit up in the shopping cart seats by himself either. This product solved my problem! Even when he was able to sit up unassisted, it gave me a little more security knowing he was strapped in tighter than the belts provided on the carts allow. (Not to mention that it's often hard to find one with a working belt!) It's also useful as an impromptu high chair, as you can wrap the tabs around the back of a chair when needed.

I've been using this product since my baby outgrew her carrier, so it's been almost a year now. I love it! I use it in shopping carts and restaurant high chairs all the time. Now that she's bigger I don't use the part that covers the bar because I don't have to worry about her chewing on it (and the grocery store I go to has odd carts on which that part won't fit anyway). With the seat installed, though, I don't have to worry about whether the straps on the cart or high chair are in working order or not, or about the straps on the cart fitting her properly and securely. This seat fits her perfectly every time. When she was little and couldn't sit up, the wide soft straps on this seat held her upright. We've used this in a pinch to keep her in a regular chair. There's still plenty of room to adjust it so it should last us for another year.

The Secure Me Travel Seat is the best shower gift I received. I use this seat not only in shopping carts, but in highchairs and regular adult chairs. For the shopping cart it secures them in tightly without using the nasty belt attached to the cart and also covers the bar in front to prevent spreading of dirt and germs that may be transmitted from the cart. Most highchairs in restaurants are equipped with the same nasty belt and the child is loosely secured. You can use this seat in the highchairs for the same reason as for the shopping cart. You can secure this to most chairs even adult chairs. This is just a wonderful thing! Especially for the price. I will be buying this for all baby shower gifts.

I had seen this item used by other moms who take their children shopping and decided it was for me. I hated putting my daughter in unpadded shopping carts, so I would use one of her blankets. I also hated looking for a cart that had a strap that worked or wasn't broken, and was semi-clean. My daughter loves to go out and see everything, so we do lots of shopping together. She is also a bit small, so shopping cart straps don't keep her very well secured. We have used this travel seat not only at the store, but at restaurants in the wooden high chairs (their straps don't always work either), regular chairs at friends homes (easier than hauling the highchair). It works great and keeps our daughter safe. I especially like being able to cover some of the shopping cart handle and the fact that the seat adjusts as my daughter gets bigger makes this an invaluable item to have. I can't tell you how many people have asked me about this terrific product, especially where they can buy their own!

I purchased this item after my 4.5 month old son would not stop eating the bar on the shopping cart. I use it in high chairs at restaurants, adult chairs at home, and in his wagon. The travel seat is most helpful in the shoping cart. This is now the product I purchase for new moms. A great investment (...).

This is the best baby item. I am a mother of 4 & bought this with my 3rd child and it was wonderful. Now with my 4th she is also loving it, although my almost 2 year old wants it still. From the time my kids can sit upright they want to.. so the carriers on the shopping carts just won't keep them happy and the seat straps(if you can find a cart that they still work in)don't give the security a 5-6 month old needs. Does any one remember sitting on cold or hot shopping cart seats? With this it gives a little padding and a lot of support. Once in the seat i know my kids are secure. Also i have used it to give better support to restarant high chairs. One more thing it comes with a clear pouch KEEP IT,use it to store it in your car, that way you always have a clean cart seat cover and don't have to worry as much about the kid with a cold who was just drooling on the same handle as your little one is now trying to bite into.

I can's say enough about how great the Secure-Me Travel Seat has been for my family. My daughter grew out of her Infant seat at 4mo. old (she still needed a little support to sit up) I had to either carry her every where or use a stroller. This was really inconvenient when I ate at a restaurant or shopped for a large amount of groceries. The Secure-Me Travel Seat gave my daughter enough support with its wide belt and large straps of Velcro to help her sit up in shopping carts, high chairs and even regular chairs. Another huge bonus is that you don't have to put your little baby onto filthy carts, or highchairs w/out protection. It is very versatile, its compact, its easy to wash, I just cant say enough. I honestly couldn't have lived without it! I recommend it to everyone!!

I bought the Secure Me Seat for my daughter when she outgrew her infant carseat at 5 months old. She was just learning to sit at the time, and this product held her in place without a problem. Plus, the fabric protects her skin from the metal & plastic on the cart. It's easy to use (I bought a different one with a 5 point harness at the store and found it too cumbersome to use), covers the cart handle for when she puts her mouth or hands on it, and the dark blue color doesn't seem to get dirty very fast. People stop me all the time and ask about it! The only thing I'd change is to make a way to attach the back pad to the back of the cart seat itself, which would make it easier to put the baby in seat.
Overall, a great product!

This seat doesn't cover the whole grocery cart and doesn't seem to be very comfortable. It is also not easy to place in the cart while holding your baby. I recently bought a similar seat by infantino called Shop & Play. There is a removeable pillow for the back of the cart which my daughter loves-I'm sure those carts can get uncomfortable after awhile. It covers the whole back and handle of the cart with leg holes that have flaps for babies legs to rest on. There are three toys which are over the handle to entertain baby and easy to roll up while holding baby. I bought it at Wal-Mart for just a little more than this seat, but well worth it for the extras.
