The best piece of equipment ever!,
By
This review is from: Secure-me Travel Seat (Baby Product)
My son outgrew his infant carrier when he was 5 months old and I was so worried about what I would do with him in grocery carts, etc. He could somewhat situp, but not entirely at that point. This thing saved our lives!!! The strap that goes around their midsection helps him from "slumping" and it is easy to use. He LOVES being able to sit up and look around, rather than being stuck in a car seat that is too small and uncomfortable for him. I was able to spend an hour and a half in Target just the other day with him in this! DO NOT HESITATE AND RUN OUT TO BUY THIS IF YOUR CHILD HAS OUTGROWN THEIR CARSEAT!!!

Very handy and convenient,

I have used this product everytime I have been grocery shopping since my daughter was 5 months old - she has just turned one year! In the beginning she needed the extra support and now I use it as peace of mind that she is secure when I may turn my back on her and, she can't chew on the front handle. I agree with the comments that it does not cover the entire area of a shopping cart seat but it adequately covers the area that my daughter holds onto (over the handle) and it holds her very nicely in place. It is small and folds up compactly so it is convenient to keep in my car and then carry into the store with me. My only hestitation in giving it 5 stars is that the seat portion could be marginally larger and a little more padded. I get stopped regularly by other Mom's who see my daughter sitting in this product and highly recommend it!!

Great for twins!!,

I have twins, and everybody who has twins knows that where ever you go shopping (besides Costco) stores only have carts and belts to seat one. One day I got real tired of pushing my girls around in their stroller and only being able to grab a few groceries (whatever I could hold in my hand), so I thought, I bet I could squeeze both girls in the front of the cart and secure them with the "secure-me-seat". And since then, I've been shopping till I drop! Best invention ever!

So Worth it if you do not use the infant carrier!,

our son outgrew the infant carrier at 4 months old, he was about 21 lbs and 27 inches. going shopping and out to eat without the carrier was hard, he could barely sit up in the cart or highchair. This was a life saver!! the large strap held him in place. Its not really for germ cover-up but more to keep your child in place and safe. I tell everyone to get it!

Good for the money,
This review is from: Secure-me Travel Seat (Baby Product)
I bought this when my daughter was about 5 months old. She outgrew her infant carrier and couldn't quite sit up on her own and this did keep her from falling over in the restaurant high chairs. I was really only able to use it for a few weeks because it doesn't work very well for an infant who sits well. Once they are able to move back and forth or squirm at all, it doesn't really stay in place very well. Also, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get her into it with only one person but since most people eat out in groups, that shouldn't be a problem! =)

Too Hard to Figure Out,
By
This review is from: Secure-me Travel Seat (Baby Product)
This looked like it would be a good idea.
I was looking for a cover for the shopping cart and restaurant high chair. This isn't it. It barely covers anything. The worst thing is that it is too tricky to figure out how to put it together especially while you are in the moment of putting the baby in it. Too many pieces. There is no way to do it with a wiggly baby. I had two strangers in a restaurant helping me and we still couldn't get it right. I am disappointed.

Go with the Floppy!,

When you have a little one you learn the importance of doing things with one hand. This seat is rather complicated and you need two hands to put it on. I'm sure once you use it a while you get the hang of it. I bought it and never used it because I could tell how hard it would be to use. I just bought a Floppy seat cover and LOVE it! You can put it on with one hand while you're holding your baby. Ease of use makes all the difference in the world.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY-BUY THE BUGGY BAGG!!!,

This seat is impossible to get in without assistance. Even with help, my husband and I looked like we were participating in the newest Olympic event! I bought it because it was cheaper than others and I got what I paid for! A cheap product! It does not cover enough of the shopping cart for a germ freak like me. My son was always finding the shiny metal parts to touch and chew on. Don't waste your money. Go all out and buy the Buggy Bagg! It covers everything, is padded, and can be put in with one hand! I LOVE my Buggy Bagg!!!
