This review is from: Noahs Ark and the Ararat Adventures (Hardcover)
Several people would resist the idea that Noah's ark indeed did happen. They claim to believe in Bible and in the Noah's ark. But they have no idea what it was like before the Flood. The life and enivornment was totally different changed after Flood. A must for diligent Bible students, also a challegne to the skeptics of Bible.

Handsomely illustrated and much to ponder.,

A handsome and well done book on the yes, historical figure of Noah. You can just investigate any aboriginal culture in the world and they will have a flood legend. Sometimes the names differ but the core story is the same with some variations around it. This book is endorsed by former (and now desceased) astronaut Jim Irwin. Why would a man of his standing believe in something so opposite of the whole Darwin agenda. I'll tell you why, because this man new the truth. He worked for NASA and he might have come across some great evidence that yes there was a biblical flood that happened in 2370 B.C. (the book does not mention this important date). Anyway getting back to this book, there are some great photos of Ararat exploration in this book and some truly great illustrations in it as well such as our forefather Noah offering a sacrifice of thanks to the creator who had lovingly saved him and his family (a total of 8; by the way the chinese symbol for boat denotes 8 people within a vessel, hmmmm.....).

I read this book to my children a number of years ago and recently I had them re-read it on their own. It is a stunningly well written book for children and adults (don't let the cover fool you). It has some phenomenal photographs of the mountains of Ararat and other interesting discoveries in Turkey. It also has some very interesting drawings. I've even used it to teach Sunday School (for the photos and drawings). I don't want to spoil the stories for those who are unaware of Dr. Morris' adventures in Turkey. So, let me just say this - buy the book, you will LOVE it. This book outlines SOME of the evidences that Noah's ark really existed and that the world really was covered in its entirety by water. It also goes into moderate depth on the topic of the search for the ark.
